Relax Gaming Limited inks Infinity Reels licensing deal
Online casino games and platform developer Relax Gaming Limited has announced the signing of an agreement that is to give it the ability to fully exploit the Infinity Reels mechanic from Australian compatriot ReelPlay for its own range of titles.
The Maltese innovator used an official press release to declare that the intellectual property arrangement will allow it to utilize the Infinity Reels ‘trade dress and mechanic across a range of its proprietary content’ and make the progressive advance available to a range of third-party studios such as its Powered By and Silver Bullet partners.

Relax Gaming Limited revealed that it currently offers a portfolio of over 1,000 online casino games and initially joined forces with ReelPlay only last year via an integration of the Sydney-headquartered firm’s titles onto its own iGaming platform. It moreover described the Infinity Reels mechanic as ‘a unique concept in online slots’ that sees players provided with ‘the chance to add an additional reel and re-spin’ complete with progressive multiplier opportunities.

Simon Hammon, Chief Product Officer for Relax, used the press release to proclaim that the repeating Infinity Reels innovation first appeared in February as part of the three-reel El Dorado Infinity Reels video slot from ReelPlay and provides aficionados with the chance to maximize their ‘winning potential.’
