AGA premieres new Commercial Gaming Revenue Tracker service
In an effort to provide value to its members as they endeavor to get back on track following the coronavirus pandemic and the American Gaming Association (AGA) has announced the launch of its new Commercial Gaming Revenue Tracker service.
The organization used an official Thursday press release (pdf) to detail that the fresh facility utilizes monthly reports so as to supply the sector with state-by state and cumulative overviews regarding the performance of the United States’ commercial gaming industry. The AGA explained that the innovative resource is part of a campaign to improve its in-house data collection capabilities and also comes complete with break downs of specific verticals such as land-based slot and table games as well as iGaming and retail and online sportsbetting.

report shows that the United States recorded second-quarter aggregated gross gaming revenues of $2.3 billion to take the year-to-date figure to a rather disappointing $11.7 billion. Although this initial figure represents a 78.8% decrease when compared to the same three-month period in 2019, Miller proclaimed that he remains ‘optimistic for our industry’s re-opening and recovery’ in the face of ongoing coronavirus-related closures.
